Shuttout is a social platform that allows both professional and amateur photographers to share their work in an engaging way. As a one of the kind start-up, it makes featuring their work more entertaining by introducing a spirit of competition. Artists can enter contests and win small financial prizes, which incentivizes them to continuously improve their skills.
Such a gamified application, whose target audience consists of visually sensitive users, requires great interfaces and advanced front-end technologies. They have been applied to build attractive Shuttout web and mobile applications.
Photographers are encouraged to:
Share photos and enter competitions
Vote on work of peers
Improve their skills and techniques
The evolution of the platform meant:
Starting with a basic web app
Enhancing the web app
Rewriting the functionalities to mobile app (PWA)
Bitnoise is both a technological partner and an investor in the app. We started with delivering a very basic MVP, which allowed Shuttout to gain initial traction and attract further funding.
We’ve worked closely with other founders to provide engineering insight and translate business needs into a successful solution. We also helped develop a product strategy that included a roadmap for AI modules and further monetization of the photos collected in the database.
