AI-powered engineering for people industry

We build software for companies that manage people. HRTech, EdTech, workforce management. 2-3x faster delivery with AI-augmented engineering.

Domain Expertise

We build our own HR products. We speak your language from day one. No ramp-up time explaining what an ATS is.

Senior Only

40 engineers, 8+ years average experience. No juniors learning on your project. Stable team, low turnover.

AI-Native Delivery

Every engineer works with AI tools daily. One senior dev delivers what traditionally takes two. Faster without sacrificing quality.

Team

Augmentation

Embed our senior engineers in your existing team. Scale up or down as your needs change. Full integration with your processes.

Frequently askedquestions

  • What does Bitnoise do?
Bitnoise is a senior-only software engineering studio based in Poznań, Poland. We do three things: build custom web products end to end, embed production AI features into existing SaaS products, and place senior engineers directly into client engineering teams. We work mainly with HR tech, edtech and workforce-management companies across the EU, UK and US. Around 40 engineers, and no juniors staffed on client work.
  • What kinds of companies does Bitnoise work with?
Mostly B2B SaaS companies that manage people: HR tech (ATS, HRIS, payroll, skills taxonomies and matching), edtech (K-12, higher education and corporate L&D) and workforce management (scheduling, time tracking, field operations). Clients range from funded startups shipping a first product to established platforms modernising a legacy system. Bitnoise also builds its own HR products, so there is no ramp-up period spent explaining what an ATS or an LMS is.
  • What does it cost to work with Bitnoise?
Senior engineering starts at €50 per hour per engineer on team augmentation, billed monthly against actual hours worked. Fixed-scope projects are quoted as a single price after discovery. Discovery itself is a fixed-price engagement of one to two weeks that ends in a written brief covering scope, milestones, risks, team shape and a numeric estimate — so you see a real number before committing to delivery.
  • What engagement models does Bitnoise offer?
Four: fixed-scope project delivery when the brief is well defined, time-and-materials when scope will move as you learn from users, team augmentation when you need senior capacity inside an existing team, and equity partnership in selected cases. Augmentation contracts run monthly with 30 days' notice on either side. Models can switch mid-engagement at a sprint or milestone boundary — a fixed-scope MVP handing over into augmentation is a common path.
  • How quickly can Bitnoise start?
For team augmentation, three to five business days from a signed contract — enough for credentials, repository access, environment setup and a kickoff with your delivery lead. For a full project, discovery usually starts within a week or two of the first call and runs one to two weeks before delivery begins. By comparison, a European senior engineering hire typically takes three to six months from job posting to first commit.
  • How experienced is the Bitnoise team?
Around 40 engineers, averaging 8+ years of production experience. Every engineer placed on a client engagement has at least six years of shipping non-trivial systems end to end; Bitnoise does not staff juniors on client work. A typical delivery pod is one delivery lead, two to three senior engineers and a half-time designer when the work is user-facing. Turnover is low, so the engineers who start an engagement are the ones who finish it.
  • Where is Bitnoise based, and how do you work with clients abroad?
Bitnoise is based in Poznań, Poland, and works with clients across the EU, the UK and the US. The whole team works in Central European Time (UTC+1/UTC+2), giving full overlap with EU teams and four to six hours of overlap with US East Coast teams. Engagements are remote by default, with occasional travel for kickoffs or quarterly planning. All engineers are fluent in English.
  • What technologies does Bitnoise build with?
React and TypeScript on the front end, usually with Next.js, TanStack Router or Remix. Node.js with NestJS on the back end, or Python with FastAPI when the work is ML-adjacent. Postgres by default, MongoDB when document modelling genuinely fits. For AI features we work with OpenAI, Anthropic and open-source models such as Llama, Mistral and Qwen, chosen per use case rather than per vendor. We deploy to the cloud you already use — AWS, GCP, Vercel or Coolify.
  • Does Bitnoise build AI into products, or use AI to build faster?
Both, and they are separate things. As a service, Bitnoise builds production AI features inside existing products: retrieval-augmented generation over private knowledge bases, chatbots and agents, LLM-powered search and summarisation, document extraction and workflow automation — shipped with evaluation and guardrails, not as demos. Internally, every Bitnoise engineer works with AI coding tools daily, which is how one senior engineer delivers what conventionally takes two. Every engagement gets the second part whether or not it needs the first.
  • Who owns the code, and how does Bitnoise handle NDAs, GDPR and security reviews?
You own all work product from the moment it is committed. Code lands in your repository under your accounts, and designs land in your Figma — Bitnoise never delivers a tarball at the end. We sign mutual NDAs before any technical discussion, GDPR Data Processing Agreements whenever we touch personal data, and Standard Contractual Clauses where data leaves the EEA. We also complete vendor security questionnaires and support the SOC 2 and BAA requirements that come up in procurement at larger clients.
